Rabat – Here is the weather forecast issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology for Wednesday, September 23, 2026:

• Hot weather in the southern provinces and the interior of the Souss region, and fairly hot in the southeast and the interior plains.
• Low clouds in the morning and at night with drizzle or fog patches along the Atlantic coast and plains, and in the Mediterranean.
• Showers with a risk of thunderstorms in some areas of the Saharan provinces.
• Moderate gusts of wind in the Tangier region and the southern provinces.
• Minimum temperatures of around 7-12°C in the Atlas Mountains, the Rif Mountains, and the eastern high plateaus; 28-32°C in the southern Saharan provinces; 24-27°C in the plains west of the Atlas Mountains, the interior of the Souss region, the southeast, and the interior of the Saharan provinces; and 15-22°C elsewhere.
• Temperatures rising in the Oriental region, the northern interior plains, and the southern coasts, and slightly falling elsewhere.
• Calm seas in the Mediterranean, calm to slight seas in the Strait of Gibraltar, and slight to moderate seas along the Atlantic coast.
