Mirage F1 Single-Engine Aircraft Crashed Monday in Sidi Sliman With No Injuries

Rabat – A single-engine Mirage F1 aircraft of the Royal Air Forces crashed Monday, August 17, 2015, six (06) kilometers south of Sidi Slimane Air Base, said a statement of the  General Inspectorate of FAR Press Department.

Returning from a training mission, the device that was preparing to landing had a collision with a swarm of large birds that caused the extinction of its engine, the source added.

Having ejected the driver is unharmed, the statement said, adding that the crash occurred in an uninhabited area, devoid of any urban area.
