Morocco King Presided the Establishment of Mohammed VI Foundation for African Ulema

On this occasion, the spokesman of the Royal Palace, historian of the Kingdom, Mr. Abdelhak Lamrini has delivered an address to HM the King, Commander of the Faithful, in which he stressed that “under instructions from the High Your Majesty in your capacity as Amir Al-Mu’minin, he was taken to the creation of the Mohammed VI Foundation for African Ulema, under the chairmanship of your Majesty. ”

The Mohammed VI Foundation for African Ulema, whose headquarters will be established in Rabat, and assigns the task to promote research and studies in the field of Islamic thought and culture, according to the will of His Majesty the King to preserve unity of the Muslim religion, thwart any extremist trend in terms of thought and religion and seize any opportunity for the exchange of views between the ulema of the African continent and promote the achievements of the people in the field of science and knowledge.

It also assigns the objective of promoting the historical relations between Morocco and other African states to encourage the institution centers and religious institutions, scientific and cultural across the continent.
