Nineteen people died Tuesday in clashes in Ghardaia region, bringing the death toll to twenty two in two days in this area of southern Algeria, clashes theater since 2013, announced Wednesday APS.
According to the newspaper all over Algeria TSA, the victims were killed with firearms.
Dozens of others were wounded according to- TSA- 70 were recorded in the clashes between Mozabite (Berber) and chaâmbas (Arab) as APS citing local and hospital sources. The Interior Minister Noureddine Bedoui went there, the agency said.
This is the highest death toll recorded in this region of the M’Zab Valley, where clashes regularly take place for two and a half years.
