Amman – 515,476 people is The number of Syrian refugees who received medical services of the Moroccan field hospital at the Zaatari camp in the governorate of Al-Mafraq (northeast of Jordan) since installation in 2012 until last Sunday.
According to data from the direction of the hospital, children and infants topped the list of beneficiaries of the hospital services with 211,691 patients, followed by women (162,421) and men (141,364).
Thus, the various hospital services have provided medical benefits 756,244 431,120 free prescriptions and prescribed.
The emergency department has received 124,474 cases, while the pediatric department has received 75,025 cases and that of general medicine (75480).
The number of births carried out in hospitals has reached 888 including 816 cesarean.
The total number of Syrian refugees who received medical services of the Moroccan field hospital at the Zaatari camp since its inception August 10, 2012, reached 13,713 patients with 649 war wounded, while the number of surgeries s’ amounted to 3,539.
The hospital provides services to Syrian refugees on the Jordanian-Syrian border, enjoying a structure with a minimum capacity of 60 beds, and a hundred medical staff, including 32 doctors under twenty specialties.
