Mohammed VI could meet Al Sissi next June
King Mohammed VI could meet next June, president Abdelfattah Al Sissi. The announcement was made Friday in Dakhla at a press briefing by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Morocco on the sidelines of the Crans Montana Forum, said the Egyptian media.
Salaheddine Mezouar stressed that he works with his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, to prepare the summit, taking into consideration the agenda of the two leaders.
The chief diplomat said that Rabat wants to raise the level of its relations with Cairo at the level of “advanced partnership”. Moroccan Minister has not specified otherwise, the place of the first meeting between the two heads of state.
On January 20, Al Sissi phoned Mohammed VI; a conversation that ended a strong diplomatic tension phase because of the proximity of the Cairo regime with the Polisario.
