Arab Health Ministers under Morocco chairmanship to meet in Cairo
The Council of Arab Ministers of Health will hold its 43th ordinary session in Cairo on Thursday under the chairmanship of Morocco.
According to a statement from the League of Arab States, released Monday, the agenda of this session addresses several issues, including the health and humanitarian situation in Palestine, the disease Ebola and improving maternal health in the Arab world.
The board will also consider the Arab strategy to fight against AIDS (2014-2020), mental health, the fight against addiction, Arab complementarity in the field of medicine, and the Council of the discourse of Arab Ministers of Health at the international meeting in Geneva in May.
Ministers will further consider at this session, the issue of amending the Statute of the Council and the rights of the elderly in social and health protection and priorities of global development goals after 2015
