Morocco asked forimmunity to be grantedby France toits officialsin return forrestoration ofjudicial and securitycooperation between the twocountries.
The judicial cooperation agreements between the two countries have been suspended since February 27, 2014, a decision taken by Rabat to protest against the complaints of “torture” and “complicity in torture” to its intelligence boss Abdelattif Hammouchi.
“It is necessary that Moroccan officials have immunity on French soil. And we can always resolve our differences through the diplomatic process,” said a source.
