Al Baghdadi Called Daech Candidates to join Libya
Abubakr Al Baghdadi invited Moroccans aspiring jihad to go to Libya to join what is called the ” Islamic State Berka wilaya,” the local branch of Daech whose capital is Derna, in the far eastern countries deemed to be a bastion of fundamentalist even in the time of the Gaddafi regime. The same call was sent to the Tunisian radicals.
The noose of security services tightens on Moroccan Salafist circles. The latest round of dismantling terrorist cells is proof. Al Baghdadi believes that Libya provides shelter for future fighters wishing to escape arrest and restrictions and even suitable land for their jihad and they are “closest” geographically to the kingdom.
