Arrest of the alleged perpetrator of the Moroccan student in Miami

Police arrested Friday night in Miami a suspected man responsible for the attack against a young Moroccan student, on New Year’s day at a disco in south of the city, local media reported on Saturday.

Younes Adlan, 22, is currently in intensive care at Jackson Memorial Hospital, suffering from head trauma because of a violent blow to the face causing his sudden fall on the curb.

Cody Quaife, 34-year security guard, in this nightclub in South Beach, was seen by witnesses hiting the young student and get away without assisting his victim, who fell into a coma, police said, quoted by the local TV Local10.com, which states that the alleged offender would have gone to the authorities of the city.

According to the parents of the victim who made the trip from Morocco, Youness Adlan, a young student at the University of Rhode Island (Northeast) suffered multiple fractures in the skull.

“He was brutally assaulted,” said, for its part, the family lawyer Jeffrey Altman.
