Warning of a sharp decrease in temperatures from Saturday to Monday in several regions of Morocco

A sharp decrease in temperatures down to minus 10 degrees in several regions of the Kingdom, including the Middle and High Atlas and Haouz from Saturday until Monday, announced the direction of national meteorology (DNM) in a special bulletin.
Temperatures will be between (minus) -10 (minus) -5 degrees at night and between (minus) -5 and 0 degrees during the day in Ifrane, Beni Mellal, Boulmane, Azilal, Taza, Al Haouz, Tinghir Midelt, Chichaoua , Guercif and Ouarzazate, said the DNM.
The temperatures level will be between (minus) -5 and 0 degrees at night and between 0 and 6 degrees on the day in the cities of Khenifra, El Hajeb, Sefrou, Al Hoceima, Jrada, Oujda, Figuig, Taourirt, Errachidia, Taounate and Taroudant, the source added .

In a previous newsletter, DNM had reported a significant drop in temperatures with rain and snow until the middle of next week.
The same source had attributed this change to a northwest flow accompanied by rain clouds that will affect northern, central and eastern Morocco, noting that these rains will be accompanied by snowfall on the peaks of the great and Middle Atlas and Rif whose altitude exceeds 1300 m as well as the large reliefs of the east.
According to the management of the national meteorological this rainy weather will last from Sunday until next Wednesday in the north, center and east with falls of snow on the peaks.
