The body of Abdellah Baha, the Minister of State and number 2 of the PJD, left the morgue in Rabat on Tuesday. An ambulance carrying the body immediately took the road to the home of Abdelilah Benkirane where a religious ceremony is planned before the burial of the deceased at the cemetery chouhadas after the prayer of Addohr.

The state minister Abdellah Baha, one of the closest collaborators of the head of the Moroccan PJD Government Abdelilah Benkirane died sunday in a railway accident in Bouznika (located between the capital Rabat and Casablanca city), while inspecting the site where Ahmed al-Zaidi, a former member of parliament for the socialist union party, drowned a few weeks ago.
Baha’s body was reportely identifiable only by an official ID card found on his corpse. Security authorities have opened an investigation into the collision and results will be made public as soon as it is completed, according to the ministry of interior.
Mr. Baha has served as deputy secretary general of the justice and development party (PJD), since 2004. He was MP for Rabat for three consecutive terms, beginning in the 2002 legislative elections. This native of Souss was vice-speaker of the house of representatives (2007), Head of PJD Group (2003/2006) and president of the commission of justice, legislation and human rights (2002/2003). member of the executive office of the uniqueness and reform movement (MUR), he was director of publication of the daily “Attajdid”, as well as “Al Islah” and “Arraya.” He was 60 years old.
