Morocco floods new bilan, interior Minister

The Interior Minister, Mohamed Assad, said Tuesday that according to the High Royal instructions, all services (Royal Armed Forces, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, National Security, CivilProtection, Auxiliary Forces …) have been mobilized to deal with exceptional weather that cause loss of life and damage to property and infrastructure.
After presenting the condolences on behalf of the government to the families of the victims  theminister  said that under the High Royal instructions, all services were mobilized to deal with this situation.

432 people, who were in very dangerous situations, were rescued, 94 have been transported usinghelicopters, made by order of HM the King, to participate in rescue operations, lamenting the death of36 people in these elements.
On the roads, Mr Assad said the main concern was the reopening of those roads submerged by water, citing 150 interventions recorded for this purpose in the last three days. He has even added that20,000 families have been affected by the cuts of electric current, which 4000 are still to this daystruggling with these cuts.
Mr. Assad has reported 170 interventions for the rehabilitation of electricity in the region and the distribution of aid by helicopters, some of which are still supplying some Douars in the provinces ofEl Haouz and Ouarzazate .
Despite efforts and preventive measures, the losses were significant, including recorded deaths, hashe lamented, adding that heavy rains that fell between Thursday and Saturday, have only two deaths and two missing.
