“A Moroccan day” was organized for the benefit of young talent show “Star Academy”, Tuesday night, in the studios of the TV channel LBC in Beirut.
During this day, under the auspices of the Embassy of Morocco in Lebanon, the candidates of the television show have discovered the Moroccan as well as cultural and artistic life in the Kindgom culinary arts.
Responding to questions from young talent, the Deputy Ambassador of Morocco in Beirut, Amal Hajji, recalled the many cultural and artistic events organized in Morocco, including the Mawazine Festival, the World Sacred Music Festival, Gnaoua Festival and world music as well as the International Film Festival of Marrakech. She also referred to the Grand Theatre in Rabat, the achievement is part of the “Wessal Bouregreg” and integrated development program in the city of Rabat 2014-2018 “City of Light Rabat, Moroccan Capital of Culture”, launched in May last by HM King Mohammed VI.
The diplomat, also gave an overview of the Mohammed VI of modern and contemporary art and its role in the radiation of Moroccan Arts Museum.
This day, which coincided with the celebration of the Independence Day of the Kingdom, was enlivened by Moroccan songs performed by some of the young talent in the program, which could also discover Moroccan handicrafts through the symbolic gifts that were given to them.
