Morocco react to the CAF decision of African Cup

The Morocco while remaining “committed to the organization and maintaining the report” does not evade its commitments to the organization of the next African Cup of Nations (CAN-2015 of football, assured Tuesday in Rabat, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohamed Ouzzine.

Regarding the position of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) the minister has confirmed that the CAN-2015 will not take place in Morocco, said Mr. Ouzzine respect this decision, taken in Cairo on Tuesday while insisting that “the interests of Morocco and Moroccans precedence over any other consideration. ”
“We do not want precede events or judge intentions, awaiting what will make the CAF,” said he further stated about the intention of the Executive Committee of CAF to apply “subsequent regulatory steps are necessary following the failure by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) regulatory and contractual clauses”, including those set forth in the framework agreement signed between the CAF and FRMF in April 2014.
He also reacted to the decision to disqualify the Moroccan selection of CAN-2015, noting that “it will be normal because the competition is not held in Morocco.”
The Executive Committee of CAF meeting in Cairo on Tuesday, confirmed in a statement that the African Cup of Nations 2015 will not take place in Morocco, recalling having notified on 3 November, his decision “strong and unanimous “to keep the competition on the dates indicated (17 January-8 February 2015).
