His Majesty King Mohammed VI received on Monday at the Royal Palace in Rabat, Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development of the French Republic, who is on a working visit to the Kingdom, said a statement from the Royal Cabinet.
The meeting focused on the relationship between the two countries, the regional security environment and in particular the fight against the terrorist threat, and the various regional and international issues of common interest.
The meeting also focused on the future prospects, strong and serene, the bilateral relationship in all areas.
This audience was attended by Messrs. Jean Francois Girault, Director of North Africa and Middle East department at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Charles Fries, Ambassador of the French Republic in Rabat, the Moroccan side, Messrs. Fouad Ali El Himma, Advisor SM King, Salaheddine Mezouar, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and Chakib Benmoussa, Ambassador of His Majesty the King in Paris.
