Moroccan cyclist win 5th stage of Moroccan cycling tour

Moroccan Ait El Abdia Anas has won the 5th stage of Morocco cycling tour of the UCI Africa Tour, played Tuesday between Ouarzazate and Tinghir on a plot of 164 km , while the yellow jersey is still on shoulders of the  Hungarian Kudsztor Peter .

With a  time of 3hrs 44min 46sec Ait El Abdia ( Morocco Olympic team ) beat the Dominican Milan Diego, credited a 3h 44min 58sec time , and the French Desriac Loic , winner of the 2nd stage.

Overall, Kudsztor ( UTENSILNORD ) is still the leader with a total of 18h 27min 39sec time before the Italian Mazzi Alesssandro ( 18h28min02sec ) and Moroccan Mouhssine Lahssaini ( senior national team ) with a total of 18h 28min 05sec .

After this step , during which participants had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the valley of Draa through Kelaa M’gouna and – Boumalne Dades , Ait El Abdia endorsed the green jersey ( points classification ) , while the white of best climber is the property of the Italian Corrado Lampa (Differdange team Losch ) the jersey of best young rider is supported by the Turkish Balkan Serka ( Brisasport ) .

Under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI , this edition knows the participation of 120 riders from different countries, including France , Canada , Luxembourg, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Portugal , Russia , Germany, Switzerland , Argentina , Saudi Arabia, Algeria , Libya and Eritrea , in addition to Morocco represented by three teams.
