Morocco Delivers Military Vehicles and Supplies to Liberia to Support Special Forces Training

A Moroccan C-130 military cargo aircraft landed on Monday at Roberts International Airport in Liberia, carrying a shipment of military vehicles and supplies, according to local media reports.

This initial delivery of Moroccan military equipment is dedicated to training the special forces of the Liberian Army, with a second plane carrying additional military supplies expected to arrive in the West African nation over the coming days.

The provision of Moroccan military assistance is part of the ongoing defense cooperation and strategic partnership between the two countries, aimed at enhancing the logistical capabilities, technical expertise, professional development, and operational readiness of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL).

Additionally, Liberian press reports indicate that preparations are underway to transport approximately 140 rigorously screened AFL personnel to Morocco for specialized commando training, designed to sharpen tactical skills, strengthen discipline, and boost the combat readiness of Liberian soldiers.

Last October, Morocco and Liberia signed a military cooperation agreement establishing a comprehensive framework for joint training, technical assistance, military healthcare, and strategic exchanges.

This Moroccan military support paves the way for future collaboration between the two nations in defense logistics, leadership training, and medical infrastructure development.
