According to the French newspaper Ouest-France website, quoting Gen. David Rodriguez, commander of US Africa Command, the countries likely to receive these military installations operational facilities are: Morocco, Senegal, Ghana, Gabon, Uganda, Burkina Faso and Kenya.
These CSL would each consist of 1,000 m2 of warehouses, 325 m2 of offices, several tracks fortunes can accommodate at any time, big cargo planes of the class of C-17 Globemasters III, parking for aircraft, fuel bunkers, rooms for 200 soldiers, access to car rentals.
CSL, the source added, can contain naval structures, such as harbor piers, able to accommodate buildings of 289m.
The geographical layout of CSL requires that they must be at least four hours flight from all danger points on the African continent.
