Two Moroccans are among those still wanted for attacks in Tunis Bardo Museum occurred on 18 March. According to the Tunisian interior ministry quoted by AFP, twenty-three people suspected of complicity with the attackers were arrested and four are on the run, two Moroccans, one Algerian and a Tunisian.
“Twenty-three people, including a woman, who constituted a terrorist cell were arrested,” the minister said, Najem Gharsalli, adding that “80% of the cell” involved in the attack of the museum was dismantled.
But the interior minister did not disclose the identity of the two Moroccans wanted . He stressed that the Tunisian Ben Maher Mouldi Gaidi is accused of providing automatic weapons. He also said that “the terrorist operation was led by terrorist Abu Sakhr Lokmane” an Algerian jihadist leader considered one of the leaders of Okba Ibn Nafaa, a jihadist group affiliated with Al Qaeda.
