Region Tabrant within the province of Al Hoceima was the exchange of fire between elements of the Royal Gendarmerie and an army band sequestered the café owner demanding a ransom him against his release, reports the daily Al Massae in its issue of Friday February 27th.
Referring to its sources, the publication Arabic advance the forces of the Royal Gendarmerie traveled to Douar Beni Bouchibent after the cafe owner managed to escape from criminal band, adding that the police could not stop the Band members and had their number, which led them to ask for reinforcements.
According to the sources, the mobilization of forces of the Royal Gendarmerie took place following many complaints from the population of Tabrant, noting that the members of this band have to their credit several crimes for months using different types of weapons.
And further that the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie tried to release the cafe owner but were surprised by a fierce response from the eight criminals who have faced by firing bullets, noting that the people of this region repeatedly complained of intimidation to which they are subject including repeated threats against citizens and theft of their property.
