According to the report, the draft press law and publishing requires the commitment of the State to respect the independence of newspapers and public support for the press depends on the respect for the independence.

The year 2014 was also marked by the strengthening of transparency in the allocation of administrative announcements, the report said, noting that no cases of use of advertising boycott to exert pressure on private newspapers were recorded.
The report notes, in this regard, as publishers and advertisers were encouraged to restructure the Office of justification of newspaper circulation (OJD) to strengthen its independence and ensure continuity of publication of its data on the spread of press.
Regarding the call for tenders for the use of external production, report says SNRT has called for tenders for the programs of the grid Ramadan 2014 channels Al Oula, Tamazight and Laayoune TV, making that 164 program proposals were received of which 43 projects were deemed consistent with established administrative, while projects identified during the technical and artistic phases were 25 in number, and following the financial study and the final deliberations, 30 projects were selected.
In terms of the second string, adds the report, a tender for draft programs for the gates of the month of Ramadan in 2014 resulted in the selection of 35 projects from among 90 submitted by 42 production companies.
