The Executive Council of the Atlantic Federation of African Press Agencies (FAAPA) examined, here Wednesday, a series of measures and initiatives to make this structure a strategic partnership platform between the African news agencies and expand cooperation at regional and international levels.

During this meeting, FAAPA chairman and MAP Director General, Khalil Hachimi Idrissi, presented two partnership agreements with the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and the Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies (AMAN), in addition to a draft agreement with the Union of Latin American News Agencies (ULAN).
