Police Denies that Moroccans Deported From Turkey Had Extremist Ideology
The national police (DGSN) flatly denied, on Saturday, allegations saying that the eight Moroccans who were deported earlier this week by the Turkish authorities had an extremist ideology and were looking for joining terrorist camps.
In a statement, the DGSN corrected this baseless allegations by explaining that the investigation that was conducted by the competent services shows that these people were going to transit via Turkey as part of illegal immigration towards Europe.
Police investigations also proved that the eight individuals do not belong to any terrorist group or organization, and do not have any extremist ideology or plans, it said.
