Moroccan researcher and cinema critic, Mustapha Mesnaoui, passed away on Tuesday morning in Cairo of a heart attack.
The late Mesnaoui, 62, died on the way to hospital where he was transferred from the hotel in Cairo where he was scheduled to participate in the 37th Cairo film festival.
He was member of the Union of Moroccan writers (UEM) and of the writing team of “attaqafa al-jadida” magazine. He also led “al-Jameaa” journal and “Bayt al-Hikma” magazine specialized in translation.
