Dakar – His Majesty King Mohammed VI accompanied by the President of Senegal, Mr. Macky Sall, visited Tuesday the real estate project «officials City ” realized in the pole Urban Diamiadio in Dakar by Peacock Investments, a subsidiary of the Moroccan group Holmarcom.
Explanations were provided to His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President Macky Sall on the draft of ” officials City ” covering a total area of 73 hectares and covers a housing program for civil servants and to employees of the middle class of Senegal.
Mobilizing a total investment of about 37 billion CFA francs, this project, a partnership between Moroccan and Senegalese operators Group, focuses on the realization of 2850 housing. It follows in the wake of the commitment of the Kingdom, under the leadership of HM the King, for the contribution to the socioeconomic development of sisterly and friendly countries, including Senegal, through a high social impact projects.
This is a real program that targets mainly civil servants, but also middle-class workers and Senegalese diaspora in search of individual dwellings in the vicinity of Dakar at an affordable price.
The work focuses on the development of plots of 150 m2 for a surface area of 60 to 76 m2, as well as housing construction villas of type “Kheweul” (F3) and R + 1 and “Ibis” (F4) . A total of 230 villas and 150 lots of serviced land will be delivered in July 2015.
The site is in the form of integrated project involving the construction of a set of utility equipment and trade areas, to make available to the inhabitants, all the everyday amenities including a school, a center health and a mosque and a shopping center and sports fields.
The urban center of Diamiadio will be a new city, with an international conference center, hotels, a ministerial pole, the second university in Dakar, an industrial and commercial hub and a center for sports and recreation.

The Sovereign and the Senegalese head of state have then proceeded to the keys and taking possession of certificates for the benefit of ten (10) beneficiaries of the project “City officials”.
Senegalese President Macky Sall presented to His Majesty King Mohammed VI widebody three trucks and three ambulances, a control sample of 400 trucks and 164 ambulances carried out by the State of Senegal to the Moroccan society “Riad Motors “.
